This is the first song for my "Lovers' State" album. I starting writing this song at about 13 years old and at that time it was a slower blues tune with the the first verse finished. Last year I started writing an autobiographical collection of songs about my life and it seemed incumbent on me to finish this song that depicts the longing and desire in a young teen boy yearning to have a partner in this life for life..
